what we can learn from Warren Buffett ?

When we talk about the greatest investors of the world, first name which pops up in our mind is warren Buffett, a legendary investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, the holding company of his investments.

Warren Buffett is the world’s 3rd richest person and the two names which precede him are Carlos Slim and Bill Gates. The 2008 figure for his net worth was $ 62 billion.
WB is renowned as ‘Oracle of Omaha’ and is known for propagating the concept of value investing which he inculcated from his mentor Benjamin Graham.
His first successful investment was when he along with his friend invested in a pinball machine and placed it at a barber’s shop, and within little time he multiplied his invested capital.
Benjamin Graham looked only financial statements while Warren Buffett gave importance to Management ability and leadership skills too.
Warren being a conservative investor was even criticized for staying away from tech stocks, but the ‘dot com bubble’ supported his stand.
I opened this new topic to discuss Warren’s investing style which shall add to our insights and help us in improving our learning curve to take judicious and wise decisions to prosper.
